Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist for a 6-month contract to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll duties using TechnologyONE on a fortnightly basis
  • Perform month end reconciliation and processing
  • Conduct EOFY reconciliation and processing
  • Calculate termination payments, back payments, and bonus payments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information within the payroll system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues with the system vendor
  • Undertake audit requirements on all payroll-related matters for internal and external audits
  • Manage queries from internal and external stakeholders on all payroll-related matters

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar payroll-centric role under Australian rules and regulations
  • Certificate IV in Payroll, Finance, HR, Business, or 4 years of experience in an end-to-end payroll role
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes for SME businesses
  • Strong numeracy skills with the ability to perform manual calculations as required
  • Excellent organisational, coordination, and attention to detail to meet deadlines
  • A strong sense of professionalism while handling sensitive information
