**About the Organisation**:
Chandler Macleod is proud to partner with an entity of the Victorian State Government that are dedicated to managing, maintaining, and operating an essential service for a regional area of Victoria. Due to an increase in workload, they are seeking a talented Payroll Officer to join them on a 6-month contract.

**Duties**:

- Full function payroll duties using TechnologyONE (fortnightly)
- Month end reconciliation and processing
- EOFY reconciliation and processing
- Processing and calculation of termination payments
- Processing and calculation of back payments and bonus payments
- Ensuring employee information are accurate, up-to-date and maintained within the payroll system
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues with system vendor
- Undertake audit requirements on all payroll related matters for internal and external audits
- Query management for internal and external stakeholders on all payroll related matters

**Key skills**:

- This role is office based in Bendigo, full COVID vaccination required
- Prior experience in a similar payroll-centric role under Australian rules and regulations
- Cert IV in Payroll, Finance, HR, Business OR ideally 4-years' experience in an e2e payroll role
- TechnologyONE experience highly desirable
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent knowledge e2e payroll for SME businesses
- High level numeracy skills with ability to undertake manual calculations as required
- Strong organisational, coordination and attention to detail to meet deadlines
- A strong sense of professionalism whilst dealing with sensitive information
