Job Overview

As a senior environmental professional, you will take on the role of contaminated land specialist, leading investigations and site remediation projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage contaminated land investigations including data collection and validation
  • Oversee field programs, contractors and junior staff ensuring successful project outcomes
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for environmental risk assessment and management
  • Liaise with clients, auditors, regulators and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Develop and deliver proposals, and contribute to business development initiatives

Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • At least 15 years of experience in contaminated land consulting in Australia
  • Strong understanding of QLD and national legislation (EP Act, NEPM)
  • Excellent communication, reporting and client liaison skills
  • A solutions-focused approach to complex sites, with ability to develop creative solutions
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with ability to grow technical influence
