About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Food Service Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing patient food trays, beverages, and basic food preparation.

This position involves:

  • Ensuring high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety practices
  • Providing exceptional support to the broader team as required
  • Maintaining stock levels and conducting inventory management tasks
  • Working across a 7-day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts

Your Skills and Experiences

To be successful in this role, we require an individual with:

  • Previous experience in a prep kitchen or hospital environment (although not essential)
  • A thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Compliance with HACCP, Food Safety, and Workplace, Health, and Safety regulations
  • Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
  • A willingness to accept and promote our core values
