Be part of a dynamic team shaping the court experience. As Deputy Registrar, you contribute to modernising and improving the court system in Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will provide effective supervision to the registry team ensuring a supportive workplace environment for all staff;
  • Support the efficient management of daily operations including coordination of court proceedings and delivery of services;
  • Recognise and action risks relating to Domestic Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) including anti-social behaviours of court users;
  • Keep court stakeholders at the heart of service delivery responding to their needs in a trauma-informed manner;
  • Contribute to maintaining a culture of excellence in service delivery fostering innovation and promoting continuous improvement;
  • Ensure compliance with administrative systems including data integrity and established processes policies and procedures;
  • Cultivate professional and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of services relaying appropriate knowledge to meet stakeholder requirements;
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning goal achievement self-reflection and motivation within the registry team;
  • Support implementation of transparent financial human resource data and risk management practices;
  • Support workforce planning performance management and provision of timely constructive feedback to direct reports;
  • Fulfill statutory duties as a Justice of the Peace Clerk of the Court and Registrar as required;
  • Represent the court in various committees and meetings;
  • Provide expert technical advice and guidance on operational processes and systems;
  • Maintain accurate documentation of technical processes and procedures;
