About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Sales team in QLD on a part-time basis, covering a 12-month maternity leave period. The part-time schedule entails four days a week, with Mondays being a mandatory working day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the sales function with primary focus on Commercial builder, developer, major plumber and some architect and designer, as well as merchant relationship cross-over.
  • Execute relevant strategic business and promotional plans in the commercial building segment to provide sustainable revenue/gross margin growth.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with 3-5 years of sales experience, specifically in the building and construction industry. You should have:

  • Experience working with the GWA product ranges is highly desirable.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues and customers across all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to influence business leaders, distributors, and retailers for enhanced commercial outcomes.
  • Sales and marketing expertise, including the development and implementation of strategies and sales techniques, along with a solid understanding of product development.
  • Effective people management skills.
