Transport Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Transport Operations Supervisor to join our team at BagTrans Pty. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and productive operation of our transport operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Management: Ensure the smooth operation of our transport operations, including the loading and unloading of vehicles, and the management of our team of drivers and operations staff.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of drivers and operations staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are able to perform their duties effectively.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all aspects of our transport operations are conducted in a safe and compliant manner, including the management of our fleet and the adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Performance Management: Monitor and manage the performance of our transport operations, including the management of our fleet and the adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, including the management of their freight and the provision of regular updates on the status of their shipments.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a transport operations role, with a strong background in team leadership and management.
- Qualifications: A current Forklift License is desirable.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with our clients and our team of drivers and operations staff.
- Knowledge: A good understanding of the transport industry, including the management of our fleet and the adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.
