Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual to play a pivotal role in maintaining an efficient and organized factory environment.

This role reports directly to the Production Director and involves operating forklifts, trucks, and utes while handling various ad-hoc tasks.

Critical Qualities:

  • Extremely Organized - You'll be responsible for keeping our space tidy and structured, ensuring everything is in its proper place for maximum efficiency.
  • Self-Starter - We need someone who can take initiative, anticipate needs, and jump into tasks without waiting for instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain Cleanliness and Organisation:
  • Keep the factory floor, storage areas, and shared workspaces clean and orderly.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are stored correctly and easily accessible.
  • Manage stock levels and inventory.
  • Assist with packing/unpacking of outgoing/returning jobs.
Operate Forklift/Truck/Ute:
  • Safely load and unload materials, relocating them to designated areas.
  • Conduct basic maintenance checks to ensure vehicles and equipment are in good working order.
Ad-Hoc Tasks:
  • Support various departments with production-related tasks and logistics.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider team to maintain workflow efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A valid forklift license and driver's license are essential.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or factory environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and within a team.
