Job Overview

This role presents a unique opportunity for an experienced radiographer to take on leadership responsibilities within the Medical Imaging Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the department head in daily operations and foster effective relationships with radiologists.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing operational standards, policies, and procedures tailored to the department's needs.
  • Oversee the development of a comprehensive continuing professional development program aligned with industry requirements and recognized accreditation programs.
Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA registration to practice as a radiographer, along with a recent radiation license, and relevant clinical experience.
  • Proven expertise in managing multi-modality imaging departments and familiarity with RANZCR Accreditation guidelines and ACHS standards related to department accreditation.
  • Strong leadership skills, motivation, and conflict resolution abilities, with a focus on staff performance management.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
