As an Intake Officer Financial Inclusion, you will expertly assist clients navigating financial inclusion intake processes and access relevant services.

You'll conduct initial assessments and ensure referrals are made to the most appropriate financial inclusion programs or other community services.

Your work will also support data collection systems and contribute to analysis and evaluation activities that help shape and improve service delivery.

You'll be actively involved in producing reports, participating in planning and advocacy efforts, and promoting services to the wider community.

  • Relevant qualifications in community services and experience with intake processes.
  • Strong understanding of the causes of poverty and social exclusion.
  • Substantial experience in utilising data systems in the community social services sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, resilience, and a solution-focused approach.
  • Prior experience working respectfully with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, and culturally and linguistically diverse clients.
