Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessments, care planning, and ongoing management of clients with complex mental health needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advocate for client-centred care and effective treatment strategies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices, policies, and procedures within the service.
- Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation to enhance patient outcomes.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
- Enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
