Leading Academic and Wellbeing Strategist

About the Role:

The Department of Education is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the community and schools we support. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Leading Academic and Wellbeing Strategist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement wellbeing and behaviour management initiatives to support high-quality educational outcomes for students;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop quality teaching and learning practices;
  • Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, parents, and education stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to function to a high standard in a team environment;
  • Sound knowledge of Essential Skills of Classroom Management and Positive Behaviour for Learning;
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in classroom profiling, inclusive education, and developing student wellbeing.
