Role Overview:

The Department of Education seeks an experienced Guidance Officer to contribute to the implementation of the Equity and Excellence strategy. As a key member of the Student Support and Engagement Team, you will play a vital role in supporting students who have experienced or are at-risk of student disciplinary absences.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and school staff. A thorough understanding of student engagement principles and practices is essential, as well as experience in working with students with mental health and behavioural difficulties.
