Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, inspection and maintenance of Land Based or Marine bulk storage and distribution terminals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct transfer and receipt operations of petroleum products in various modalities to include: Ship, Barge, Tank Truck, Rail, and Pipeline in a safe and environmentally prudent manner.
  • Perform inspections of facilities in accordance with contract requirements or operational directive.
  • Perform Fuels Quality testing in accordance with contract requirements or as directed.
  • Perform maintenance and housekeeping of Crowley owned equipment and assets.
  • Ensure work is being performed in accordance with company operational and safety standards, in addition to all applicable Government or Customer Contract requirements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a bulk fuel facility or fuel systems receiving and distribution. Previous experience with Government Contracting fulfillment is desirable.

Certifications and Technical Proficiency:

  • Must possess or ability to obtain a government security clearance and maintain it throughout employment.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • PMAOMIR322 training.
  • MSIC card.
  • 213 fire response training.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Fuels Manager software experience or equivalent is desired.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment.
