We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Road Tanker Driver to join our team. Directhaul is a top tier employer in the tanker industry with extensive experience in transportation across Australia.

The ideal candidate will have over 30 years of experience in the industry, ensuring they possess a deep understanding of transportation requirements and solutions.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop positive relationships with customers and colleagues while maintaining a safe and reliable service.

Responsibilities
  • Loading, transporting, and unloading bulk petroleum products
  • Completing daily pre-start and WHS checks on vehicles and equipment
  • Developing strong relationships with team members and customers
  • Following instructions from depot managers for daily duties, trip sheets, and timeframes, including work diaries and fatigue management
  • Maintaining safety and compliance with Dangerous Goods and National Heavy Vehicle Requirements
Qualifications
  • A current MC licence
  • A valid Dangerous Goods Licence and experience handling hazardous materials
  • Experience working in remote areas of Australia
  • Mechanical skills and knowledge
  • A willingness to undergo a national police check and pre-employment medical prior to employment
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Knowledge of current Work Health and Safety practices and safe vehicle operation
