CQUniversity seeks an experienced senior solicitor to join its Office of the University Solicitor. This pivotal role plays a key part in safeguarding operations, providing timely and practical legal advice, managing complex legal matters, and supporting the university solicitor on key projects and priorities.
The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in interpreting legislation, drafting contracts, and representing clients in legal proceedings. They will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in large or complex organisations.

Required Skills and Qualifications- Admitted as a solicitor in Australia, with at least five years' post-admission experience;
- Current unregistered Queensland Law Society Practising Certificate, or eligibility to obtain one;
- Strong knowledge of Australian commercial and administrative law, including regulatory frameworks and evolving government policy;
- Demonstrated legal experience in complex organisations, ideally within higher education.
- 17% superannuation (with the choice to join an award-winning superfund);
