Role OverviewThis Occupational Health Specialist - Return to Work role will be based at our Victoria Park head office, where you will work closely with the Health and Rehabilitation Team Leader to support employees throughout their return to work journey.
Key Responsibilities- Ongoing injury management support to employees to ensure a safe and timely return to work.
- Facilitating rehabilitation programs with injured workers to promote proactive management of injury and adhere to return to work strategy.
- Identifying and driving activities to guarantee a durable and safe return to work during claim duration.
- Promoting health promotion and injury prevention campaigns across the organisation.
- Liaising with key stakeholders, including medical practitioners, allied health professionals, legal providers, and insurer agents.
- Supporting health and wellbeing initiatives across the business.
- A tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy.
- Minimum of 3 years industry experience in Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry best practice standards.
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to develop effective relationships and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Experience delivering health, injury, and illness prevention strategies with a large trades-based workforce.
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated around $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a comprehensive employee assistance program.
