Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated educator to join our team as a Teacher in the field of Waterproofing. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to students across a range of learning modes and locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching and learning strategies and methodologies to meet and support the diverse needs of learners.
  • Develop high-quality teaching resources and assessment materials, and teach in a range of agreed units, subjects, and courses in a variety of learning modes and across a range of locations.
  • Participate in the delivery of teaching and educational services to industry including workplace visits, assessment of training needs, development of training plans, and the effective delivery of courses.
  • Provide pre-course advice to students and participate in student selection, induction, and marketing events including Open Days, Information nights, and Expos.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have an approved degree, diploma, or certificate in a relevant vocational area or approved equivalent qualifications at least to the level being delivered and assessed. You will also need to hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40122 or TAE40116 or TAE40110) or its successor, or an approved diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education or vocational education and training, or a secondary teaching qualification with one of the following credentials: TAESS00011 Assessor Skill Set, or TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or its successor, or TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor.
