This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our leisure team, delivering high quality swim programs and connecting with customers of all age groups.
OverviewAs a Casual Swim Programs Instructor, you will play a key role in ensuring continuity of service and providing high quality swim programs to meet the needs of our community. You will work across multiple locations, including Central Coast Council Leisure Facilities NSW.
Shifts will be available Monday to Sunday, morning and afternoon, with penalty rates applying for weekend shifts.
Responsibilities- Deliver high quality swim programs that enable participants to achieve their personal development goals and improve their swimming skills;
- Review and track participants' progress;
- Ensure participant safety at all times through safe activities and continual surveillance of swim class members;
- Prepare lessons and equipment as instructed.
- Current AUSTSWIM qualification in teaching of swimming and water safety or equivalent;
- Provide Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID 001 / HLTAID 009);
- Working with Children Check Clearance Number or Application Number prior to employment;
- Demonstrated experience in delivering high quality swim programs or coaching swimming;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Casual positions up to 38 hours per week;
- Salary $38.63 per hour (includes casual loading) + 12% superannuation; Penalty rates apply for weekend work
