About the Role

Aequalis Consulting (Finance & Accounting) is seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Accountant to join our team in a pivotal role. As a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting and consolidations, you will be responsible for managing comprehensive financial reporting processes and consolidation activities within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Consolidations: Manage the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and data integrity across multiple business units.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with finance teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting and to uphold best practices across the organization.
  • Financial Analysis and Insights: Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Systems and Technology: Oversee the adoption and utilization of financial systems to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with external auditors to ensure all financial reporting meets the required regulatory and statutory compliance.
Ideal Candidate
  • Qualifications: Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting and consolidations.
  • Industry Experience: Proven track record in a senior accounting role, ideally within the facility management, services, or related industries.
  • Accounting Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant accounting frameworks.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Excel, capable of handling complex data sets.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage financial projects effectively.
