Cyber Strategy Lead
Job Description:The Cyber Strategy Lead will spearhead initiatives and activities that drive operational resilience across industries regulated by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority.
This role involves developing strategies and work programs to enhance operational resilience practices, particularly in cyber and technology risk management. The successful candidate will ensure APRA's supervision activities are effective and efficiently delivered.
- Developing key strategic actions and activities for APRA's Refreshed 2025-29 Cyber Program.
- Guiding policy development in cyber and technology resilience, including information security controls and data risk management.
- Considering emerging technology capabilities and broader environmental influences on APRA's strategic priorities for cyber risk.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management capabilities, with experience in assessing operational resilience, organizational governance, risk management, and strategic planning.
They will also have excellent organizational, prioritization, analytical, and communication skills, as well as relationship-building and negotiation capabilities at senior level.
