
Administrative Support Officer

This role involves providing high-level administrative support to the CEO and Director of a Vocational Education and Training office. The position requires a professional and effective level of administration, working in collaboration with Academic and Professional colleagues across the University.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing diaries, scheduling meetings and committees, drafting agendas, minutes and action plans, and associated follow-up tasks. They will also administer all files, templates, and reporting for the office of the CEO and Director, assist in the compilation and production of reports, submissions, statistical summaries, and data sets as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience delivering high-level executive administrative support preferably in a Vocational Education and Training or higher education environment.
- Demonstrated time management skills, including attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, organize workload, and manage competing priorities/deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with senior leaders and collaborate with colleagues, across multifunctional teams, by providing a high level and responsive service.
- Demonstrated proficiency in application of Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn computer software programs and work with enterprise systems.
- Proven record of preparing high-quality documentation with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Relevant experience, an administration qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
