
Financial Operations Assistant

We are seeking a diligent and organized individual to assist in our corporate accounting team. The Financial Operations Assistant will be responsible for providing support with daily operations, including bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and aged payables and receivables reporting.
- Prepare daily bank reconciliations within the finance system.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journals.
- Prepare and review aged payables and receivables reporting including reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of customer invoicing.
- Review corporate credit card and employee expense claim coding.
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register including monthly reconciliations.
- Assist in the monitoring and reporting requirements of subcontractor retentions and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly Business Activity Statements.
- Review and authorise payments within the company's banking platform.
The ideal candidate will possess prior accounting or finance experience, preferably within a large business environment. They must also have strong organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
