Job Title: Stock Room Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Stock Room Manager. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stock room.

As a Stock Room Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage the flow of goods into and out of the stock room, ensuring that all stock is properly stored, labeled, and easily accessible.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement effective stock management strategies, including inventory control, stock rotation, and damage control.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of stock
  • Conducting regular stock checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards
  • Identifying and resolving stock discrepancies and losses
  • Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
  • Providing training and support to junior team members

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position within retail or an a like industry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Excel, Word etc.
