Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Community Partnerships Officers across NSW.
  • Develop strategies, tools, and resources to support local justice plans and implement justice reinvestment initiatives.
  • Cultivate partnerships with Aboriginal communities, government agencies, and stakeholders to drive justice reform.
  • Represent the organization in key forums and maintain alignment with its values, policies, and code of conduct.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must identify as Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander.
  • Extensive leadership and team management experience, including supervising Aboriginal staff.
  • Strong understanding of the criminal justice system, justice reinvestment, and culturally safe approaches.
  • Extensive experience working with Aboriginal communities, including community organising, development, advocacy, and engagement strategy design.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Well-developed organizational, planning, and communication skills.
