Aboriginal Justice Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Community Partnerships Officers across NSW.
- Develop strategies, tools, and resources to support local justice plans and implement justice reinvestment initiatives.
- Cultivate partnerships with Aboriginal communities, government agencies, and stakeholders to drive justice reform.
- Represent the organization in key forums and maintain alignment with its values, policies, and code of conduct.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must identify as Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander.
- Extensive leadership and team management experience, including supervising Aboriginal staff.
- Strong understanding of the criminal justice system, justice reinvestment, and culturally safe approaches.
- Extensive experience working with Aboriginal communities, including community organising, development, advocacy, and engagement strategy design.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Well-developed organizational, planning, and communication skills.
