Description:

The role of the Healthcare Professional Lead is a vital part in delivering high-quality recovery-oriented and trauma-informed support to individuals who use the SafeHaven. As a leader, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight to ensure that our services meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and quality
  2. Provide leadership and supervision to a team of staff members
  3. Foster partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders to promote suicide prevention
  4. Collaborate with peer workers to deliver innovative and effective programs
  5. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that align with our organization's goals

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a health-related field or extensive relevant work experience
  • Strong understanding of the needs of individuals and families in suicide prevention
  • Experience in leading teams and developing quality improvement initiatives
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to navigate health systems
