About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead our team in delivering high-impact projects within the oil and gas industry.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver project outcomes according to agreed schedules, meeting our quality standards.
  • Maintain mechanical engineering standards across all projects.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and peers.
  • Recommend improvements to engineering systems and processes.
  • Develop industry networks and contacts.
  • Work with clients to identify efficiency opportunities and decarbonization targets.
  • Encourage constructive feedback and challenge the norm.

Your Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in designing oil, gas, and energy infrastructure.
  • Proven Australian experience in oil and gas, mining, refining, terminal, tank farm, or bulk fuel distribution.
  • A deep understanding of relevant design codes (ASME B31.3, AS 4041, API 650, ASME VIII, AS 2885).
  • Experience in pipe stress analysis (AutoPIPE or Caesar II).
  • Site, fabrication, or construction experience is viewed positively but not essential.
  • CPEng / RPEQ or equivalent, or near completion.
  • The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
