Job Summary:
Macro Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in the South-West region of NSW. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing personalized health services to clients in a leading organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Assessment and Communication: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and communicate effectively with them and their families.
- Occupational Therapy Assessments: Provide best-in-class occupational therapy assessments to clients, ensuring they receive the highest level of care.
- Liaison and Collaboration: Liaise with families, specialist services, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement programs and strategies to achieve clients' goals, promoting independence and well-being.
- Clinical Review and Supervision: Participate in clinical review and supervision to ensure high-quality care and professional development.
- Early Intervention and Care Coordination: Provide comprehensive early intervention and care coordination to clients, addressing their physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional needs.
- Patient Education and Support: Educate clients and their families on occupational therapy techniques, promoting self-management and empowerment.
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualifications: Hold tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
- Professional Registration: Be eligible for membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Certifications and Clearances: Hold a current Working With Children Check and Police Clearance.
