We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Practitioner to join our team at the Department for Child Protection. As a key member of our Noarlunga office, you will play a critical role in enhancing social work capacity and principles of social work practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and mentoring to DCP staff on social work/case management matters.
- Undertake regular reviews of cases to ensure effective plans are in place and appropriate case management is occurring.
- Contribute to the implementation of continuous quality improvement and policy development initiatives.
- Support Youth Court processes and act as a witness in court proceedings.
We are looking for a confident individual with a strong background in social work and case management. You will have the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with people within government, non-government sector, and community.
You will have knowledge of social work legislative framework, including acts, regulations, and social work/case management theories and methodologies that guide social work practice principles.
You will also have the ability to analyse complex problems and resolve matters that demonstrate reflective practice.
