Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled pharmacist to join our team in the CALHN Pharmacy Department.

  • Provide comprehensive and high-quality pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Deliver expert clinical advice, dispensing and counselling services.
  • Contribute to the safe and effective use of medicines for patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

This is a dynamic position for pharmacists seeking to grow their clinical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to patient-centred care in a state-wide pharmacy service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimise drug therapy and improve health outcomes in line with SA Health policies and national standards.
  • Support research, participate in quality improvement initiatives, supervise pharmacy interns and students.
  • Contribute to the education of medical, nursing and allied health staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and current registration (or eligibility) with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practice, drug dispensing, medicines information, and counselling.
  • Effective communication, organisational and teamwork skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks.
