Job Overview

We seek a senior civil engineer to lead and grow our civil engineering function, delivering complex projects across Australia.

The successful candidate will have expertise in project management from scoping to delivery, with advanced proficiency in civil design software and leadership experience.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the civil engineering capability and project profile of our local office.
  • Provide technical oversight and hands-on project management for challenging civil engineering projects.
  • Apply best-practice design and delivery in compliance with Australian standards, integrating cutting-edge modelling software and digital design tools.
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with specialists to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Building a strong pipeline of projects through proactive engagement with clients, authorities, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Collaborating with diverse specialists to deliver holistic project outcomes.
  • Representing the company at industry forums and supporting business development activity.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex civil engineering projects in Australia.
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian standards, regulations, and compliance processes.
  • Advanced proficiency with civil design software.
  • Leadership, team building, and technical mentorship experience.
  • Thorough understanding of project management from scoping and feasibility through to detailed design and delivery.
