Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Program Coordinator. In this role, you will play a vital part in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of our Out of School Hours Care Program.

As Assistant Program Coordinator, you will provide high-level assistance to the Program Coordinator and lead the service delivery when needed. You will also be responsible for promoting knowledge of and guiding contemporary best practice in working with children.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and possess excellent communication skills. You will be able to contribute to the development and documentation of meaningful learning experiences for children within the program.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Maintain current 'Working With Vulnerable People' registration.
  • Hold a diploma or degree course, or other approved qualification as defined by ACECQA.
  • Have one year of experience working with children over preschool age.
  • Have a good understanding of the National Quality Framework.
  • Hold a First Aid Certificate.
  • Hold a current Driver's License.
  • Hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
  • Have completed Keeping Children Safe (Mandatory Reporting) training.
  • Have completed Allergy Awareness Training.
