We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will have strong experience in designing and implementing control systems for various industries, including water, mining, and gas infrastructure projects.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing process control systems for mining, water, and gas infrastructure projects.
  • Delivering high-quality solutions that meet client requirements and achieve project outcomes.
  • Collaborating with multidiscipline teams to ensure effective project delivery.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering process control systems for mining, water, and gas infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with SCADA design and implementation skills, particularly for GeoSCADA, CitectSCADA, FT View, OpenEnterprise, and others.
  • Design and implementation skills for PLC and RTU platforms, including Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Siemens, and Emerson.
  • Programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, Java, VB, and VBS preferred but not essential.
  • Application of industrial internet / Industry 4.0 to leverage the power of smart machines and real-time analytics.

Non-Mandatory Skills (for Senior Engineer and above):

  • Knowledge in MES System design and implementation skills, particularly for AMPLA, Historian (Pi).
  • Knowledge in Model Predictive Control (MPC) design and implementation, including Rockwell Automation or similar.
  • Exposure to networks, including Cisco and others.
