
Medical Services Provider

As a Primary Care Physician, you will provide high-quality medical services to patients in need. Your expertise and compassion make you an invaluable asset to our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver primary medical care to patients according to professional standards, legislation, and established policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals and maintain the health and wellbeing of Defence members.
- Assess Defence personnel for fitness for duty and provide care that supports their health and wellbeing before and after deployments.
- Provide medical technical advice to senior officers and commanders.
Requirements
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner, General in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Vocational Registration.
- Minimum of 2 years full-time postgraduate general practitioner experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent).
- Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.

Additional Information
- This role requires a Baseline Security Clearance, which can only be obtained by Australian Citizens.
- Civilian employees on-base do not require Defence Force enlistment, and their employment remains unchanged even if deployed Defence personnel are cared for.
