About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Care Leader to lead our team of dedicated professionals in delivering high-quality home-based care services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong therapeutic approach, with a focus on trauma-informed care and community development.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate and experienced leader to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people who have been impacted by abuse, neglect, and trauma.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading service delivery, managing a team of Therapeutic Case Managers and Carers, and ensuring best practice in all aspects of the program.
Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
- Mentoring and supporting team members to achieve their full potential
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve outcomes for children and young people

Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or a related field
- Current driver's license
- Valid first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Criminal Records check
- Current Working with Children check
- Disqualified Carer Registration Check
In addition, we are looking for someone with:
- Demonstrated experience leading a team and driving positive culture
- Experience working in home-based care, statutory or family services sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Commitment to understanding the vision and work of our organization
- Ability to plan, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines as required
- Experience with conflict resolution and mediation
