Despatch Supervisor Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Despatch Supervisor to join our logistics and warehousing team. As a key member, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe despatch of goods to customers.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in supervising and motivating teams, with experience in transport, distribution or logistics. They will have excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

Main responsibilities include leading and motivating the despatch team, identifying and implementing process improvements, coordinating duties and activities of crew members, and conducting audits and training in relation to warehouse processes and procedures.

About the Role
  • Proven supervisor/leader experience in transport, distribution or logistics
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the transport industry or warehousing
  • Understanding of capacity planning, schedule adherence and DIFOT management
  • Advanced stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills
