
Patient Care Specialist for Operating Theatres

This role is focused on delivering exceptional patient care in high-pressure Operating Theatre environments, collaborating with colleagues to achieve outstanding results.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to Anaesthetists during surgical procedures, utilising strong technical and clinical skills to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Provide medical assistance during complex surgeries.
- Respond promptly to unexpected outcomes, applying problem-solving expertise to address emergencies in the Perioperative department.
- Maintain strict adherence to all workplace legislative requirements, including occupational health and safety protocols and workers' compensation regulations.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum three years of experience in a hospital nursing role, preferably in Anaesthetic and PACU settings.
- Proven ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care delivery, ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Strong customer service and time management abilities, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, maintaining positive working relationships and adapting to changing priorities.
- Proven capacity to work effectively within a team and independently as required, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
