Anaesthetic Nurse

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our PACU and Anaesthetics team working within Operating Theatres in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of Department Managers, Clinical Nurses and Shift Leaders to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical and clinical support to Anaesthetists during induction, maintenance and emergence from anaesthesia.
- Respond to unexpected outcomes and use problem-solving skills to address emergencies in the Perioperative department.
- Ensure compliance with all workplace legislative requirements including occupational safety and health acts and workers' compensation.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum three years in a hospital nursing role.
- Previous experience in Anaesthetic and PACU is essential.
- Ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery for patients.
- Strong customer service and time management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain positive working relationships.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
