Perioperative Anaesthesia Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Perioperative Anaesthesia Specialist to join our team.
This role involves performing duties in our Operating Theatres, working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will report to the Nurse Unit Manager and work closely with the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, and Shift Leaders to ensure the delivery of quality patient care aligns with the Hospital's care values and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities- Providing technical and clinical support to the Anaesthetist during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anaesthesia.
- Responding to unexpected outcomes and using problem-solving skills to respond to emergencies in the Perioperative department.
- Ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements in the workplace, including occupational safety and health acts and workers' compensation.
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a hospital nursing role.
- Previous experience in the specialties of Anaesthetic & PACU is essential.
- Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate care delivery needs of patients.
- Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
