Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Passenger Baggage Handler to join our team at Brisbane International Airport. As a key member of our Mishandled Baggage team, you will be responsible for tracing and locating mishandled bags for our international carrier clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for passengers at the carousel, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Verify the loading details of passengers to ensure accurate baggage handling.
  • Monitor carousels for any issues, such as belt stoppages or passenger concerns, and report them to the Baggage Services Supervisors.
  • Liaise with the below-wing team to locate missing baggage and ensure efficient resolution.
  • Record and track rush bags received, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to passengers.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the Baggage Services Supervisors, providing detailed information and recommendations for improvement.
  • Create and maintain accurate files for missed or damaged bags, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
  • Deliver baggage to passengers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience.
