About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power System Engineer and Developer to lead our Modelling & Engineering division in Victoria, AU.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing power system engineering focused tools that support our functions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and developers to develop capabilities and talent pipeline to support upcoming projects and tool maintenance.
  • Fulfill all aspects of IT Custodian for and lead the management support and development of applications and tools used for power system data, power system modelling and operational purposes.
  • Support Operations Technology Program Modelling uplift projects and AEMO Modelling Strategy initiatives.
Key Requirements:
  • A unique blend of engineering and software development skills with appropriate tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications in a related discipline.
  • Experience leading a software development team including planning and delivering training for junior Engineers/Analysts and leading later career engineers such as Principals and Specialists.
  • Significant experience in managing power system applications and automation tools and familiarity with online and offline power system applications.
