Financial Accountant Role

This is a key role within our team, responsible for providing a range of financial accounting services. The Financial Accountant will support the integrity of financial information reported to the organisation at month-end and year-end.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead payroll accounting processes, including development of annual organisation-wide budget assumptions, month end processing and forecasting.
  • Monitor all payroll data and ensure provision of accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Coordinate budgets and journals for internal payroll recharges relating to payroll.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements on an ongoing basis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Accounting/Commerce.
  • Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia (ICAA) and/or Certified Practising Accountants of Australia (CPA).
