High Voltage Electrical Systems Specialist

At Ampcontrol, we're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our organisation, you'll have the opportunity to take your career to the next level in a unique engineering environment.
What You'll DoYou'll be based in Gladstone, QLD, where you'll play a pivotal role in HV statutory testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical installations as part of a professional and positive team.
Key Responsibilities- HV Testing Experience including transformers, motors, switchboards etc.
- Secondary Relay Testing experience using industry-standard software & equipment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and fault find electrical drawings (schematics, SLDs etc.)
- Service experience in the Electrical Trades/Technical Roles.
- Experience with High Voltage Switchyard and Substation Maintenance/Testing.
A strong understanding of the Mining, Utility Networks, and Industrial sectors is essential, along with a commitment to providing exceptional client and customer service. You'll also need to travel for work when required.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you'll need:
- QLD Electrical Trade Qualifications
- HV Switching Ticket (desirable)
- Omicron Test equipment experience (desirable)
