
Bushland Educator

As an Outdoor Educator, you will have the unique opportunity to impact the lives of young people in a bushland setting. You will lead adventurous outdoor activities and confidence-building games, while mentoring our young community.
You will be part of our exciting new site redevelopment, shaping the future of our camp and contributing to the development of our programs.
Key Activities:- Design and deliver engaging outdoor education programs that cater to diverse age groups and abilities
- Lead team-building activities, including high ropes, giant swing, flying fox, and artificial caving
- Mentor and support young people in developing their self-confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A passion for working with young people and a commitment to creating positive impacts on their lives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, staff, and volunteers
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, providing support and guidance as needed
- First Aid qualification (HLTAID012) and Working with Children Check
While not essential, the following qualifications and experiences would be highly valued:
- Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation or related field
- Relevant industry experience, including working with children and youth
- Bronze Medallion or equivalent aquatic rescue certification
