Council is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic team
As a Trainee Early Childhood Educator, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while working alongside experienced educators in a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment.You will actively contribute to the development and implementation of engaging, fun, and educational activities for children aged 0-5 years, helping them build essential skills for their future.You will also undertake a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, where you'll learn the key skills needed to become a qualified educator.The position offers on-the-job training, professional development, and the opportunity to work in a well-established and respected team.Reporting to the Centre Director, your duties will include, but are not limited to:Assist in the planning and delivery of educational programs for young childrenSupport the emotional, social, and physical development of childrenFoster a positive and engaging learning environmentWork collaboratively with other educators and staff membersMaintain a safe and clean environment for childrenContribute to building strong relationships with familiesQualifications, skills & experienceCompletion of Higher School CertificateCommitment to complete the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualificationWorking with Children clearance numberExcellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skillsAbility to work in a diverse team environment Salary for this position is as per the AwardBenefits35 hour working weekAccess to Fitness PassportUniform providedNovated Lease options available for private use vehiclesHealth & Fitness $100 yearly reimbursement (conditional)Free confidential Employee Assistance ProgramBeautiful Ku-ring-gai LocationSupportive team environmentGain a nationally recognised qualification while learning from experienced educators in a real-world settingAccess to a wide range of development and training opportunitiesFor more information on the benefits offered at Ku-ring-gai Council, please refer to our website click here .
