About the Role

The Exercise Physiologist position at Alfred Health is a dynamic opportunity to join our multi-disciplinary Population Health team. As a key member of the team, you will provide clinical support to our physical activity programs and staff, managing a diverse caseload and delivering high-quality Exercise Physiology services to the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical support to physical activity programs and staff
  • Manage a diverse caseload and deliver high-quality Exercise Physiology services
  • Develop and implement person-centred care plans
  • Deliver individual and group-based exercise interventions for CCHS clients
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic client care
  • Liaise with relevant agencies to coordinate and communicate client treatment and outcomes
  • Participate in regular supervision to ensure quality professional practice

Requirements

  • Current accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
  • Current Victorian Driver's licence
  • At least 1 year post-qualifying clinical experience as an Exercise Physiologist
  • Proven ability to independently assess and prescribe clinical exercise
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
