Job Title: Payroll Director

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Director to join our team at Davidson, a thriving Australian engineering business. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional to lead our end-to-end payroll processes and ensure compliance.

About the Role:
  • Manage the entire weekly payroll processing lifecycle, from start to finish.
  • Prepare and finalize PAYG, Payroll Tax, WorkCover, Long Service Leave, and Superannuation payments.
  • Maintain accurate wage forecasts and manage the payroll system, with a willingness to become a super-user.
  • Perform end-of-month and end-of-financial-year reconciliations and reporting.
  • Expertly interpret complex Awards and EBAs.
  • Calculate and process termination payments.
  • Oversee payroll-based adjustments, such as back pays, WorkCover, and taxation requirements.
  • Drive payroll projects to continually improve systems and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
