Financial Operations Director for Growing Mining Services Business

Overview


A dynamic opportunity exists for an experienced Financial Operations Director to lead the finance team in a growing Mining Services business.



About the Role


The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing transactional accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and a team of accountants, ensuring accuracy of month-end processing and timely preparation of financial statements. They will also develop and manage budgeting and forecasting, as well as stakeholder management and engagement.



Requirements


To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a CA or CPA qualification with audit or business services experience, have commercial experience in a Finance Manager role, and be able to lead and mentor teams. The ideal candidate will have the ability to commence at short notice and commit to the assignment through to end of February 2025.



What's on Offer?


This is a diverse and busy role with a salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 AUD per annum, commencing ASAP. The position is based in CBD, requiring 5 days in-office work.
