Job Opportunity: Lifting Gear Inspector

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Lifting Gear Inspector. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic company that supplies, hires, tests, certifies, and inspects lifting and height safety equipment to various industries across Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, installing, and maintaining lifting, rigging, and height safety equipment to ensure compliance with Australian Standards. This role involves visiting sites to guarantee gear safety and efficiency, making it an excellent opportunity to work independently and make the role your own.

To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • Proven experience in the lifting industry;
  • Strong client relationships and autonomy;
  • Problem-solving and time-management skills;
  • Confidence working at heights;
  • Comfortable with technology and tablet-based work;
  • Current Driver's Licence.

Nice-to-have qualifications include:

  • LEEA Team Card Holder;
  • Industry-related training certificates;
  • Forklift high-risk work licence;
  • Safe working at heights ticket;
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card);
  • EWP ticket.
