Talent Acquisition Specialist

This is a talent acquisition role where you will be responsible for recruitment of legal support professionals. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in agency or internal recruitment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting job advertisements and posting on job boards;
  • Taking ownership of legal support and internal firm services roles;
  • Liaising with partners and managers to coordinate recruitment needs;
  • Assisting in the candidate screening process including phone screens and in-person interviews;
  • Conducting background and reference checks;
  • Drafting employment contracts;
  • On-boarding new employees;
  • Driving the employee referral campaign via monthly recruitment updates;
  • Assisting with ad hoc HR activities as required by the Chief Human Resources Officer and generalist HR team.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Business or Commerce will be highly regarded;
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset;
  • A polished, professional presence;
  • The ability to stay organised, take initiative, and juggle competing priorities with a proactive, can-do attitude;
  • Agency recruitment experience is strongly encouraged.
